Friends are indispensable, especially when it comes time to move. Be sure to tell them well in advance that you’ll be requiring their services.

  • Contact the current tenants of your future home
If you’ve ever bumped into the previous tenant of your new residence while you were carrying your mattress up the staircase and they were bringing down their fridge, you’ll want to prevent similar disasters by contacting them in advance to coordinate moving times and dates.
